What is Net Metering?
Net Metering was introduced to help Kentucky hit its renewable energy goals. Any home run on renewable energy has the ability to produce excess power. As a homeowner, you can sell your excess power back to the grid to power other homes and businesses and provide customer credits for future usage.
Traditional Grid Systems
- NO ADDED HOME VALUE
- NO CONTROL
- CONSTANTLY CHANGING COSTS
- INEFFICIENT OR UNCLEAN ENERGY
- NO WARRANTY OR SUPPORT
SOLAR SYSTEMS / RENEWABLES
- BUILD HOME EQUITY
- CONTROL YOUR OWN POWER SOURCE
- LOCKED-IN, FIXED INVESTMENT
- CLEAN RENEWABLE ENERGY
- PRODUCT & INSTALLMENT WARRANTY
What's in it for me?
Homeowners that qualify can receive a 26% tax credit from Uncle Sam and a locked-in rate that will never increase. Plus homes run on renewable power are selling faster and at higher prices than comparable homes without solar or other renewable power generation systems.
How Do I Sign Up?
All we need from you is a copy of the usage details from your most recent electric bill. This allows us to provide an accurate estimate of the kilowatt (KW) hours you are currently using to power your home. We will handle the rest.
